Big Island police are searching for a 38-year-old Puna woman who was reported missing.

Layla A. Fikes of Mountain View was last seen in Hilo at noon Dec. 28, according to the Hawaii Police Department.

She is described as Caucasian, 5-foot-6, 115 pounds with brown eyes and brown medium-length hair. She has a medical condition that may require medical attention, police said.
